Honda XBlade 160 Overall Review

Honda is going to unleash another beast in the market of Bangladesh though it will take time to get available on the bike. The name of the bike is the Honda xBlade. It is a 160 cc sports bike which is fully naked. Most of the features of the bike are still unknown but as soon as it will launch in India, we will collect the information for our country.

Basically, Honda is the oldest and most reputed motorcycle manufacturer in the World and its products used to participate in every season of MotoGP competition. They have also won several titles of the tournament. So, there will be no question about the quality of the brand. Besides, it is a Japanese brand but now some of their product are used to assemble in India.

In recent times, there are some new products of Honda are available in Bangladesh named Honda CB150 Exmotion, Honda CB Hornet 160R, etc. Both products are very popular in the country. Especially Honda CB Hornet has launched in Bangladesh a couple of days ago with a big ceremony and after that people are getting crazy about the bike. So, hopefully, XBlade will also get more popularity than CB Hornet.

Basically, the specialty of Honda XBlade is it’s most attractive and aggressive looking along with some most digital features. In Bangladesh, right now there are just a few 160 cc bikes are available and so with the release of XBlade in the country, the competitor will increase. Design & looks: Honda XBlade is a most attractive and dashing-looking 160 cc bike. It has a full unique body design with an aggressive shape. There is not split seat but the rear position of the seat is quite higher. There is an attractive exhaust and the rear tyre has an attractive tyre guard. There is no engine guard attached which has a sporty handlebar and front headlamp. Overall, the bike would be one of the most attractive naked sports bikes in Bangladesh.

Engine performance: Honda XBlade is a 160 cc naked sports bike officially but its actual displacement is 162.71 cc. The engine is air-cooled instead of liquid-cooled. It can generate 13.93 Bhp max power at 8500 rpm. Besides, the max torque is 13.90 Nm in 6000 rpm. However, the engine of the bike is BS4 added which fuel system is a carburetor. Due to the good combination of power and torque, it’s top speed would be good.

Dimensions & seating position: Honda XBlade is a full standard bike and so, it’s dimension would fill up every requirement. Officially we yet to learn it’s dimension but the bike’s kerb weight is 140 kg. It has 12 liters capacity fuel tank. The seating position of the bike is not so sporty but can compare with a stylish standard bike. One pillion can ride on the bike easily. It has wide tyres and overall the bike is sharp styling.

Suspension & Brakes: Honda company should use both hydraulic disc brakes in the bike but they do not. The rear brake is a 130 mm drum where the front brake is the hydraulic disc which is 276 mm single. Basically, the combination of disc and drum brake is much safer than the dual hydraulic disc for amateur people. So, the brake would be sufficient. However, the front suspension of the bike is telescopic and rear suspension is mono-shock. Both wheels are an alloy which is 17 inches each.

Mileage: Honda XBlade has used BS4 engine and so, its mileage would be as expected as one of the 160 cc bikes. Reportedly the average mileage would not be less than 47 km. It will increase on the highway hopefully.

Instrument Panel & Features: The instrument console of the bike Honda XBlade is fully digital. It has a digital speedometer and digital tachometer. Trip meter, odometer, fuel gauge, gear indicator, and service reminded all features are digital. Besides, it has a pass light switch but there is no engine kill switch. The headlamp and tail lamp all are LED.

Colors & Price: Honda XBlade is available in Bangladesh and the price is BDT 195,000/- (Single Disc) and 240,000/- (Fi ABS)  in Bangladesh. There are almost five different colors of the bike that would be available but all of them may not come to Bangladesh.
